Every service is customized for the client’s specific skin and personal preferences. Color refreshers are needed every 1-3.5 years depending on the skin, metabolism and lifestyle of the client, but also on the pigment used and the amount of color deposited under the skin.
Eyebrows
During the first visit you will complete an intake form after the topical numbing cream is applied to the brow area. After a few minutes, we’ll go to the actual treatment room and I’ll make a sketch of how I envision your brows. The client is welcomed to give feedback and say exactly what they would like changed in this pencil sketch. Topical anesthetics are used to make the process almost pain free. In the beginning there might be a little bit of discomfort while the template is fixed, but afterwards the area gets completely numb. With the hairstroke procedure, individual hairs are drawn on, simulating the natural hair growth of an eyebrow, so that no one who stands at a couple of feet from you is actually be able to tell you’ve had this treatment. With the powder technique, which is usually more suitable for oily skins or for clients who desire a bit of a more defined edge to their brow, the brows will heal as if you’d wear a soft powder makeup. With some clients I also do a combined technique especially when some areas of the brow have loads of hair and some have almost none. Aleksa follows Phibrows drawing rules for her microblading treatments to achieve symmetry and beautiful shapes.
There are three essential factors that determine how your permanent makeup will heal: the technician’s skills, the way you take care of them and your skin. If you have severely sensitive skin or a combination of oiliness and rosacea issues, or you used to tan a lot in the past and have quite a bit of sun damage, please expect to need at least a touch-up or for some areas to potentially not hold color as well.
Two to twelve months later some clients come back for an initial follow-up visit. If there are any small gaps that did not take color, you wish to change the technique or you’d like to darken up your healed results, this is the moment to address all these issues.
Color refresher appointments are recommended every 1-3.5 years.
Lips
Lip blushing is probably my favorite permanent makeup treatment. It offers the look of a lip stain and just livens up your entire face. It’s an extremely helpful treatment especially if you find your lip color disappears very quickly throughout the day or if it bleeds into fine lines around the mouth. I myself had it done because my lips blended in with my complexion. I was happy with my shape, but I looked very pale and almost sickly around the house. It didn’t replace a twice a year “red lip” look, it just made my lips look healthier without anything on. There are many shades that can be used or custom mixed, from pale corals and pinks to brighter reds and cherry/brown colors.
While this technique creates a more defined lip and a slight impression of bigger lips, please look into filler if your main goal is increasing your lips size/adding more volume. We cannot go outside of your natural lips more than 1/20 inch, as it can look clownish.
Hairstrokes - $985
Alexandra draws delicate hairstrokes with a tiny acupuncture type of needle.
Powder Brows - $985
The entire eyebrow is gently filled in. The healed look mimics the way powder looks inside our brows. The bulb of the brows (area closer to the nose) is speckled and lighter than the tail which gives it a gradient, ombre effect.
Combination - Hairstrokes + Powder - $985
Both treatments are combined when a bolder look is desired or in cases where the brows are very patchy to begin with. Areas that have a lot of hair maybe get only hairstrokes, whereas on gaps that lack hair, both techniques will be used.
Lip Blushing - $1100
The entire lip is gently shaded in. The color is applied so that the center of the lip blends into the client’s lip color to avoid a demarcation line in that area.
First touch-up - $185
This price applies to only the first touch-up following the first treatment you’ve had done with us. It must be done within 1 year of your first appointment. Most technicians allow max 6-12 weeks to book this first touch-ups, but because there are people who don’t live full time in Naples I’ve allowed this pricing for up to 1 year after the first session.
After 1 year, the appointment falls under color refresher.
Color refresher - $485-$585
If you come in once every 1-3.5 years for a color refresher and the shape that we created is still there, you will always fall under this pricing and will never pay full price again. If your last visit was less than 2 years ago, price is set to $485. If your last visit was between 2-3.5 years ago, price is $585.
Alexandra performs all permanent makeup treatments with micropigmentation machines. She uses the smallest needle diameter available on the market which allows her to be precise and offers the option to dip the needle in different pigment colors to give the brow more dimension if needed.
Alexandra has stopped offering microblading services in 2017. Please note microblading is not a suitable technique for clients with a combination of extremely sensitive/thin skin or for clients who bleed easily/are currently on blood thinners.
